Chocolate Coffee Mousse
This rich, 5-ingredient coffee mousse is the perfect easy dessert, ideal for serving a crowd. With minimal ingredients and simple steps, it’s a delicious treat that’s sure to impress.

Ingredients
- 1 cup thickened cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup espresso or strong coffee, cooled
- 1/4 cup icing sugar sugar
- 120g 70% dark chocolate, melted and cooled
- 4 tbsp salted caramel & chocolate sauce
- extra whipped cream for serving- optional
Instructions
- Whip the cream until stiff peaks form.
- In another bowl, mix together the milk, cooled coffee, icing sugar, and melted chocolate.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the coffee-chocolate mixture until well combined.
- Divide the mousse into serving glasses or bowls.
- Refrigerate for at least two hours to allow it to set.
- Once set add 2 tsp+ of salted chocolate caramel sauce to the top of the mousse and refrigerate until ready to serve.
- If using top with extra whipped cream and grate a little extra chocolate on top to serve.
Hints & tips
Coffee - You can use any kind of coffee or espresso you like, or substitute it for decaf to make a caffeine-free version.
Chocolate - Dark chocolate balances the mousse with a more pleasantly sweet flavour. You can use milk chocolate instead, but it will make the mousse sweeter.
Store - Cover individual servings of mousse with plastic wrap and keep in the fridge for up to 3 days.
